Pastor Fred Phelps , the head of the Westboro Baptist Church , is dead at 84 years old. Despite being widely denied his shocking slogan , ' God hates FAQs',
making headlines around the world. How he came up with the infamous message ?

The Westboro Baptist Church has been holding services since 1955 , but did not turn its attention to homosexuality , until about 20 years ago.
Prior to this, Fred Phelps is known mostly for his work in civil rights - and his nuisance lawsuit - than his anti- gay movement .
But those who supervise Phelps said , focusing on sex life has been a part of his message.
"Phelps indulged in human sexuality for his entire life , back six decades , ", a senior researcher at the Southern Poverty Law Center says.
He pointed out that Phelps profiled in Time magazine in 1952 , because he had caressed and jokes on the street ministry.
It was not until 1991 , the modern movement began to take shape .
